So I got the package today that had all of my graduation things. And like I was five years old, I put on my cap and gown with my tassel, sash, honors ropes and 4.0 pin and cried like a baby. I did not get to go to the ceremony for this one but I will make the one for my Bachelors Degree for sure. I can not believe that after working for so damn long, my Associates of Science Degree is done. Even though I have been working on my Bachelors course work for two quarters it still did not feel real until I held that silly piece of paper in my hands.
I thought I would have been further along in my life at 24 but I know that the work that I have put in on the things that I have been doing since High School has made me a better person for it. I wanted to be working on a Masters Degree at 24 but I am trekking through my Bachelors. At least I’m working on something. It sucks to see the people I went to HS with that are so much further along but I have to say that even though I’ve delayed my education i have no intention to delay the rest of my life.
